The Company is looking for dynamic sales professionals who are as comfortable and successful presenting a business case and proposal to “C” levels, as they are in solving the issues of the Fleet Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Secure orders equal to or greater than assigned quota without sacrificing margin. We sell value and do not sell on price. Focus is on orders for fleets of 100 vehicles to 5,000 vehicles.
• Provide ongoing account management to your installed base of customers, to ensure customer loyalty, and ultimately, to ensure renewal at end of term of subscription contract.
• Develop leads and fill your funnel. Leads must be developed independently, as well as our marketing team.
• Work with marketing and other sales staff to develop and implement campaigns and programs to create new opportunities for the team.
• Effective participation in planning and conduct of trade shows and exhibitions as required.
• Communicate the status of the sales opportunities via our CRM toolset and other techniques.
• To participate actively within the sales team and to feedback ideas and experiences to improve the team’s overall success rate.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Must have a strong network of Transportation, Freight Forwarding or Logistics senior level contacts that can be used to open doors so the Company can engage prospects early in the purchasing process and set the rules.
• Ideally, should have previous success in the sale of fleet tracking or fleet management products.
• At a minimum, must have a track record of success in the sale of applications or wireless products.
• Must have the ability to work independently while still communicating status, issues and opportunities effectively to the rest of the team located across Canada.
• Ideally, somebody who has had success in start-ups, or opening up a new territory – that person will understand the effort required to succeed, and the intense personal satisfaction that comes with success.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Prefer minimum of 3 years’ experience in Transportation, Freight Forwarding or Logistics and have sold GPS Fleet Tracking products.
• Will consider candidates with experience in sales with a major cellular provider, and or in the sale of applications.
• Minimum of 3 years in direct sales of B2B products and services noted above.
• Track record in securing orders of $0.5M and greater.
• Strong working relationships with multiple levels within customers.
• Proficiency with PC and networking tools.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in the presentation of a business case as well as “soft values” in the sales process.
• Verifiable track record of achievement surpassing quota and growing a business.

A privately held Mississauga based distributor of fleet tracking solutions is looking for an Inside Technical Sales Person. The candidate would be working in a small and close-knit environment that has a friendly and supportive corporate culture.
 
This is a new position which is broadly defined and is appropriate for a motivated, well-rounded individual with initiative and creativity. You will play an active part in all aspects of the company’s activities, gain valuable, first-hand experience across all phases of the exciting and fast growing field of GPS.
 
The ideal candidate should have previous sales experience and used to hitting quantifiable objectives. This position pays salary and commission. Primary responsibilities include speaking with existing customers, ensuring renewal of installed base contracts, up-selling products and services, taking orders and closing sales over the phone.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Guide the process of renewing contracts for an existing installed base of clients
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of selling professional services to existing customers
  • Handle incoming sales calls not taken directly by Account Executives
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, quotes, availability and process
  • Participate in analysis of sales reporting and provide reports to help the sales team
  • Research/troubleshoot customer problems when required
  • Assist with proposal presentations and RFP responses
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients and act as back-up for online training sessions.

Hiring: Professional Services, Project Manager

Overview:

The Professional Services, Project Manager is responsible for the planning, implementing and tracking of specific short-term projects. The successful candidate must have direct relevant experience working with customers and/or systems integrators related to enterprise solution projects.  They will partner with the sales team to evaluate the solution for the customers, manage customer relationships and develop the accounts, including supplementary Sales. The candidate will manage the project and be responsible for overall customer satisfaction.  Depending on the project some travel may be required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the project scope in collaboration with senior management and all other staff involved.
  • Project pre-qualification including scoping, execution and transition may be required from time to time.
  • Resolve issues and solve problems that develop during the project
  • Track and report all milestones throughout the project and provide status report at closing
  • Develop a detailed work plan identifying the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Determine the resources (staff, contractors, partners and equipment) including costs
  • Provide project schedule to identify when each task will be completed
  • Develop forms and set up files to ensure that all project information is documented and secured
  • Manage the project from initiation to completion and be accountable for project results
